Buyer FAQ

Latch, switch or linear Hall sensor?
BLDC commutation uses bipolar latch sensors that switch at the N–S transition. Unipolar switches suit simple position detection, and linear sensors give an analogue output for current sensing or fine angle measurement.
What operating temperature do I need?
Choose the sensor's rated range above the stator's maximum temperature — often −40 to 150 °C for motors. Check magnetic sensitivity and switching points over temperature.
How are Hall sensors bought in China?
Through the chip maker's sales office or authorised distributors, most of them in Shenzhen. Avoid the spot market for production — counterfeit and remarked parts are a real risk.
