Buyer FAQ
- What should an MCU for BLDC control include?
- Fast ADCs synchronised with PWM for current sensing, a motor-control timer with complementary outputs and dead time, a hardware fault input, and ideally a math accelerator for FOC. Vendor motor libraries save months of work.
- Domestic or international MCU?
- Several Chinese makers now offer motor-control MCUs with FOC libraries and local FAE support, often at lower cost. Check long-term supply commitment, tool chain and automotive or industrial grades if needed.
- How are MCUs programmed in production?
- Either pre-programmed by the distributor, or in-circuit during ICT or a dedicated programming station. Record firmware version per serial number.
