Buyer FAQ

What PCB specification suits a motor driver board?
FR-4 with Tg ≥ 150 °C, 2–4 layers, and 2 oz (70 µm) copper on power layers to carry phase current and spread heat. Hall boards can use thinner 1 oz copper.
Which surface finish?
ENIG for fine-pitch parts and flat pads, lead-free HASL for low cost, OSP for simple boards with short storage. Choose with the assembler and reflow profile in mind.
What should come with each lot?
Electrical test (flying probe or fixture) results, a micro-section report, UL file number for the laminate and board, and impedance reports if controlled impedance is specified.
