AC Induction Motor Manufacturers in China
China is the world's largest producer of AC induction motors, from fractional-horsepower single-phase motors for fans and pumps to IE3/IE4 three-phase motors and high-voltage machines. Single-phase, fan and appliance motors cluster in Foshan, Zhongshan and Jiangmen in the Pearl River Delta; large three-phase motors come mainly from Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Shandong, Hebei and Fujian. Since 2021 China's GB 18613 standard requires IE3 or better for general-purpose three-phase motors.

Buyer FAQ
- What do YE3 and YE4 mean?
- They are Chinese series names for three-phase motors meeting efficiency classes IE3 and IE4 (GB 18613 / IEC 60034-30-1). Frame sizes and mounting dimensions follow IEC, so they replace IEC motors of the same frame number.
- Can Chinese motors be supplied for 60 Hz or other voltages?
- Yes. Makers routinely rewind for 220/380/415/460 V and 50 or 60 Hz, and supply CE- or UL-oriented versions for export; specify voltage, frequency, mounting (B3/B5/B14) and terminal-box position when asking for a quote.
- Single-phase capacitor-run or three-phase with an inverter?
- Single-phase capacitor motors suit fans, pumps and compressors up to about 2–3 kW where only single-phase power is available. Three-phase motors with an inverter give speed control, soft starting and higher efficiency.
- What lead time should I expect?
- Standard frames are often in stock or built in 1–3 weeks. Special voltages, flanges, explosion-proof or high-voltage motors take 4–8 weeks or longer.
