DC Gear Motor & Brushed Motor Manufacturers in China
Guangdong is the world's largest base for micro brushed DC motors and gear motors — the motors inside toys, locks, appliances, car mirrors, vending machines and medical pumps. Shenzhen and Dongguan host hundreds of makers of 130–775 size motors, spur, planetary and worm gearboxes; Zhejiang (Dongyang, Ningbo) makes larger PMDC motors. Gearbox ratios, shaft shapes and encoders are routinely customised in small batches.

Buyer FAQ
- How do I choose the gear ratio?
- Divide the motor's rated speed by the output speed you need, then check that rated torque × ratio × gearbox efficiency (about 0.6–0.9 depending on stages and type) covers your load with margin. Worm gearboxes self-lock but are less efficient.
- Carbon brushes or metal brushes?
- Metal (precious-metal) brushes suit small motors at low current with long idle periods, such as locks and toys. Carbon brushes handle higher current and longer running life, so they are used in pumps, power tools and automotive motors.
- Can I get samples before a volume order?
- Yes. Standard gear motors ship as samples in about a week; custom ratios or shafts take 2–3 weeks. Volume orders of standard designs often start at 500–1,000 pieces.
- What about noise and EMC?
- Ask for the noise figure in dB(A) at a stated distance, and for suppression capacitors or chokes on the motor terminals if the product must pass CE or automotive EMC tests. Plastic first-stage gears reduce gearbox noise.
