The leading metrology brands all have offices and application centres in Dongguan, Guangzhou or Shenzhen. Calibration traceability and nearby service matter as much as the instrument.

Buyer FAQ

Which measuring equipment does a motor plant need?
Height gauges and micrometers for daily checks, air gauges for bores and bearing seats, a roundness and run-out tester for shafts and rotors, an optical projector or vision system for laminations, and a CMM for first-article and housing geometry.
How often should gauges be calibrated?
Typically every 6–12 months to traceable standards, more often for heavily used gauges, plus a daily or per-shift check against a master. Run a gauge R&R study before using a gauge to accept parts.
What should I ask a supplier about their measurement?
Which characteristics they measure, with what equipment and how often; calibration records; and whether their CMM programs and reports match your drawing datums.
